Vulcanus Games at Gamescom 2025

What a week it has been! Vulcanus Games attended Gamescom 2025, and it was nothing short of amazing. From making incredible connections in the B2B area to exploring halls packed with both AAA blockbusters and inspiring indie titles, this year’s event was an unforgettable experience for us as a young studio.

Networking in the B2B Area

For us, the B2B zone was the beating heart of Gamescom 2025. Spread across three massive floors, it felt like stepping into the engine room of the global gaming industry.

The first floor was home to the giants like Microsoft, Meta, 2K Games, and other major players. Being able to talk directly with these companies was both inspiring and eye-opening. The other two floors offered a completely different vibe, packed with smaller studios and businesses,  specialized service providers from all over the world. These conversations were just as valuable, and it was amazing to see how much creativity and innovation smaller teams are bringing to the industry.

The atmosphere was electric. Whether it was a major publisher or a passionate indie developer, every conversation revolved around one shared goal: building something extraordinary and sharing it with the world.

The Magic of Gamescom 2025

Walking through the halls of Gamescom 2025 felt like stepping into the beating heart of the gaming world. Every corner was alive with color, sound, and excitement.

The World of Warcraft: Midnight booth drew massive crowds, with its towering arches and immersive setup that made you feel like you had stepped straight into Azeroth. Across the way, the LEGO booth sparked joy with its playful, colorful designs, proving that creativity in gaming knows no limits.

The energy didn’t stop there. The Endfield booth was a visual spectacle, with massive screens and dynamic lighting that had everyone stopping to take a second look. Then there were the merch areas, where fans lined up to grab exclusive collectibles, t-shirts, and keepsakes to remember the event.

Everywhere you turned, there was something to discover: exciting demos, exclusive previews, and entire worlds crafted by developers pouring their hearts into their creations. The sheer scale and passion behind it all made it clear that Gamescom is more than just an event. It is a celebration of gaming culture, creativity, and community.

Spotlight on some of the Big Titles

Resident Evil: Requiem

The Capcom booth was one of the busiest spots in the entire venue, and for good reason. The Resident Evil: Requiem showcase was nothing short of incredible. From the detailed set pieces that recreated the eerie atmosphere of the game to the immersive experience zones, it was a true love letter to fans of the franchise. Being there felt like stepping directly into the world of Resident Evil.

The Cosplay Experience

One of the highlights was the cosplay scene, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Everywhere you looked, people were dressed as their favorite manga characters, Star Wars legends, and gaming icons.

We saw Luigi from Mario, characters straight out of Resident Evil, and countless other fan-favorite heroes and villains. The creativity and passion the community brought to Gamescom this year was inspiring and made the event feel even more alive and inclusive.

Why This Inspires Us

Walking through the halls, seeing the passion from both developers and fans, reminded us why we love creating games. The dedication and excitement surrounding every booth, from massive AAA titles to humble indie gems, showed that the gaming industry is more alive and innovative than ever.

It is that same energy we want to channel into our own projects, especially Neon Nexus™, as we prepare for the next stage of development.
